Unbelievable free programmable calculator
This app is very nice and ambitious in scope. It attempts to take the best of HP RPN/RPL and reimagine it with JavaScript. Incredible really. The calculator does a great job with all sorts of datatypes. It does not have all the features imagined but a nice app to experiment with, customize, and use as a primary calculator. I love RPN and this handles that as well as algebraic.
This application cannot be fully appreciated until reading thru the wealth of documentation, reference material, tutorials. It also has a robust support group with contributed code.
You could teach math with this as well as teach programming. My first programming course in 1978 was on an hp 97 programmable calculator in RPL. And my first high end programmable was the hp 41CV in 1981. So this app brings back many good memories. And what the developer has added above and beyond these classic calculators is amazing. Unlimited stack (in the modestly priced ND1), almost any kind of datatype you can imagine. Truly amazing.
Try this free ND0 and when you see how much you like it move up to the full version - ND1.
There are issues but the developer responded to me within hours of me sending an email to support.
